Arisen in mid-1.999 in the city of Paraguaçu, south of Minas Gerais, Brazil, the "Punishment", was originally a project of Speed Metal, however, the mixture of member’s influences resulted in a Thrash Metal cohesive and distinctive, that the verge Death Metal, with shares flirting Crossover, creating an original sound, recalling various bands and none at the same time.

Initially as an idea of Elderson Prado, Camaroon and Élson Prado, the "Punishment" during all these years gone through periods troubled and various formations until Up to 2.002 stabilised with Camaroon (vocals), Conrado (bass), the brothers Elson (guitar) and Elderson (drums). With much sacrifice in 2.002, launched a demo entitled "Infernal World" in a process completely amateur and rustic, counting with hits: “My Lady Death”, “Anúbis - The Death’s God”, “Sengaia”, “The Man is Crazy”, “Are You What?”.

Finally at 2.006 rewrites the demo Infernal World adding the songs: “The Doom”, “House of Horror” and “Inviting The Eyes A Bright Day”, dando origem ao CD demo entitled: "Enter the Punisher".

Even having already divided the scene of several events, including the famous festival Roça'n Roll, with established names such as: Korzus, Torture Squad, Funeratus, Executer, Andralls and Thuatha de Danan, the classics: Attomica, Ratos de Porão, Stomachal Corrosion, Corpse Grinder and Expulser and is considered by many as an emerging name next to: Securitate, Alpha Scorpii, Hell Trucker, Lothloryen, Petromyson among others, in 2008 the "Punishment" passing through a delicate moment, forget and shaken by a series of internal problems caused by lack of concerts and opportunities, but still puts in the air on his Myspace and receive a considerable number of visits and Headbangers of great comments from everyone, especially the southern and northeastern of Brazil, partly for "everything or nothing" to search for events, disclosure and a possible record that sort invest in the potential of the band, trying not succumb in the face of difficulties and fashions faced by the majority of underground bands to promoters of events, press and phonographic market capitalists and biased, full of injustices, protecionisms and patronizeds, they leave in the background the opportunity of emerging bands, investing only in name as enshrined or financially stable bands, changing the metal in a big game of interests of a ruling elite, completely distort the original ideology of the movement which placed first the art and developments to be sound, today a mere detail, condemning great bands to total ostracism.

Discredited by many the "Punishment" fight for recognition facing all the difficulties to lead to Headbangers a real and sincere sound in order to perpetuate the scenario Metal UndergroundN
